In our opening segment of the ongoing saga of blueblood vs bardown, blueblood meets bardown.

(Blueblood) - Hey I'm new to this JGA board. What gives?

(bardown) - I'm the ruler of this roost. If you want to know anything, I'll give you my unbiased opinion regarding Junior Gold A hockey.

(Blueblood) - Thanks bardown. Is JGA hockey any good?

(bardown) - JGA hockey is good. It's for player's who get cut from high school teams. Teams are usually made of of seniors and juniors, with an occasional sophomore.

(Blueblood) - Who are some good teams?

(bardown) - You mean good "team" and that would be Edina.

(Blueblood) - Anyone else?

(bardown) - Nope. Well maybe EP and WBL.

(Blueblood) - What about Tonka?

(bardown) - Who?

(Blueblood) - I think they call themselves the "Minnetonka Warriors"

(bardown) - they are a bunch of wanna be's. Let me tell you some more about Edina.....

Wow. Minnetonka has zero class. What's even more priceless is that this is some dad talking up his son's team. What student has time to create such a moronic dialouge at 9:45 in the morning? lol

Do not take blueblood serious.

His posting was meant to be humorous for the JGA board watchers who have seen the back and forth banter between bardown and blueblood.

Let me clear something up for all to see:

I am aware that Tonka is a good team, but people seem to have missed those posts well here are some quotes from myself in previous quotes

"17 games without losing is impressive"
"Tonka is good"

Tonka could beat anyone, we know that. This all started because I didn't rank them ahead of WBL, and still won't. The only reason I argue with Tonka people is because they think way too highly of themselves.

Here are the quality teams in the league in my opinion:

Edina EP WBL Tonka Jefferson Wayzata

Now let me ask this again, why should I be utterly impressed with Tonka's 19 game non-loss streak? Please tell me which of those above teams that you have BEATEN over the 19 games. If you think you have played more quality teams over your streak, please tell me which ones, I would love to here.

You seem to think that I am all about Edina. In fact, I don't talk about Edina as much you may think. Why would I talk about them? They are the best team in the state, a model team that we should compare other teams to. Want to know the best part about this? I don't even have an affiliation with Edina besides, in fact, I somewhat despise them(not as much as I despise EP though) I do know 1-2 kids on Edina's team that tell me the scores of their games, and I have also seen many of them.

Once again, Tonka is a good team. Still the 4th best in my opinion, but maybe they do have the capabilities to compete down the stretch.

In the end, only 1 team is left standing on top. It will most likely be Edina, EP, Tonka or WBL.

Are you sure that you don't have a little more affiliation bardown 30 I was talking to my buddy on edinas 19 and he said you may be affiliated with there coaching staff in a very direct way.
