Just wondering some feedback of what some of the high school student sections are like this year from the best to the worst if some people have opionions on some crazy student sections let me know!

Worst - Breck

Best- White Bear

Worst-Forst Lake

Of the games I've seen - I'd have to say Hastings has the worst student section.

Edina has a pretty bad one this year.

best- Moorhead spuds until administration started to suck and check signs and cheers to make sure they were good but still i think they are the best.

worst- From the games out of town that I have been to its been Roseau. Bunch of hicks from the north that sit around no chants or cheers but its tough to say.

Best: Sections 210 and 216 at the X during the tourney.

Worst: any private schools section during the tourney.

Best: Section 206 at the X

Worst: Blaine student section has been awful this year. They don't even stand during the games and hardly cheer for goals or big hits.

centennial is the best in the state

Interesting, and right on point. Kids in Edina this year just don't seem to care. They are sick of all the hype and then being letdown at State, so they don't really have expectations. Of the teams in the last 3 years Edina, students feel that this is the weakest one. IF they make it to state, people will be back on the bandwagon.

This is true, in the Centennial game the Centennial fans were just dishing out the blows toward Blaine and there only chant the whole game was We Got Bjugstad, to which Centennial heartily replied You Can Keep Him.

I have come to the conclusion that the worst AD in the state is Virginia's because they wouldn't let the Hibbing Students stand at the Miners. Here's the AD's quote to Hibbing student " We abide by the rules here in Virginia". I'm guessing its payback for Virginia parents getting booted out of the Hibbing section.

Worst Faribault. They throw hockey sticks at the opposing players and act like big shots even though their team stinks.

I remember Woodbury and Elk River having pretty good student sections. I always looked forward to playing Woodbury becuase the arena had such a good atmosphere which I imagine will be pretty good tonight with the Woodbury White Bear game becuase both schools have good student sections.

Hibbings student section was completely dominated by virginia's and everyone who was at that game would agree

They had one good chant otherwise they copied Hibbing, plus they sat while doing cheers. Hibbing said a chant and 5 minutes later Virginia said the same one. I have to disagree with you on this. "Any school thats sits during a game doesn't have real fans". Now thats a student section. Hibbing tried to stand but Virginia's arrogant AD did not allow it. Being Virginia copied Hibbing then Virginia can't be very good either if Hibbing's as bad as you say.

Virginia students were not allowed to stand during the game either. That's been the rule there for years because of the horrible design of the place. The people sitting in the upper sections can't see (even if they are standing) when the people in the lower section are standing, which is where the students are. This rule applies to adults as well, not just the student sections. Thankfully, remodelling plans are in the works that should remedy this within a few years.

But they could at least stand when doing the cheers.

But I heard that place was getting re-modeled and just didn't know when. The seating arrangement is kind of crappy.

South St. Paul's fans are pretty bad from what I have seen. Cheering when opposing players are injured, horrible chants, and most of them know nothing about hockey.

i second that. when they are at home they throw stuff at players in the penalty box

If hibbings fans are so great why did they all leave when Virginia went up by 5 or 6? And I think Virginia did most of their own cheers first and never copied hibbings fans once

Disagree. STA's is cool during the tournament but then again, I'm a homer.

agreed. last year at state when all the guys showed up with their spiffy uniforms on. that was pretty awesome

mayo had a pretty good one....for once.......vs century......
