They are as deserving as anyone.

They played the schedule they had and ran the table. You can quibble about the schedule but they did everything they could to earn their place as the best Class A team in the state.......if and until they get to State and win it all....or not!

No, they better not get ahead of themselves, they still are going to have a tough game against Alexandria in the sections. The flyers better remain focused on that task or we won't have to worry about what seed they should get.

umm....no, has anyone looked at their section??? weak weak weak, granted not the worst but dang near close, i would laugh my head off if they lost to alexandria in sections, there is so much talk bout how great this team is but lets be honest and not lie to ourselves if they played a good team that played an actually tough schedule we could give an honest ranking, but instead they play schools for the blind and the deaf,

but congrats to ben, that is an amazing feat and no matter what is said it takes a true super star to pull this off

Everyone has heard the rant, get over it. Sections will be awesome, and why not, maybe that's where the best is coming from!

This section championship game is shaping up to be amazing. I think it would be pretty tough to argue that.

Alexandria isn't a bad team at all, more than likely top 10 A team. The same old rant is annoying at best. They have played a couple tough games (Virginia, Alex x2, and Cathedral).

How many times have you seen LF play this year?

Yes

If Farmington ran the table would they be the #1 team in AA?
If Minnehaha Academy ran the table would they be the #1 team in A?
(two teams slightly ahead of Little Falls on PS2's SOS)

Yours may be different, but my answer to these questions is "no." I have nothing against Little Falls; I hope they get the #2 or #3 seed and make it to the finals, but schedule and what you do with it matters, no matter who is on your team.

I do not think that Little Falls should be ranked first. Look at their schedule, the best teams that they have played are: Alexandria two times 4-3w and 1-0w, Cathedral 5-4w, and Virginia 1-0. Many of the other top teams have beaten these same teams by more. I do not think that they are good enough to be ranked #1. Yes, they do have a perfect record but they do not have a good enough record to be ranked #1.

I agree that thier schedule is suspect at best, but not to the point that they shouldn't have the top ranking at this stage of the season. Hopefully they get to State and it gets sorted out for real.
Congrats LF on an undeafeated regular season!

for the last couple years has little falls left the first round with a win??? think about that and then compare that to teams who have, the ones that did had tougher schedules, maybe not as good of talent, idk

2good4u does make a good point although, since we feel bad for out of state teams and only seed 4 teams, Little Falls got paired up against a top team in the state the last two years. If they had seeded all 8 the last two years I'm guessing the result of their first round game would've been different.

Why can't this part of the season be about respecting the team for doing what they've done? Little Falls has played their schedule and not lost a single game. That is an amazing feat.

Their schedule, though, isn't good enough with a lossless record to be at the top. There are many, many schedules that even if a top team played them they wouldn't be ranked, unless they played them better than Little Falls has.

what else are they suppose to do? win 150% of your games?

They should have schedule non conference games vs. top "A" or top "AA" teams and then they "might" be able to make the claim that they are #1. I'm pretty sure they would not be undefeated, yet had they done this, they probably would have gotten a little more respect. Don't think you would have scene thread like this pop up.

I predict that if Warroad, STA, Break and Little Falls all make it to state, Little Falls will not be seeded higher than #4. Coaches know whats behind thier record and they will not vote them a #1 seed.

Does it matter? Who really cares about being the number 1 seed? Really, it doesn't mean anything because you can draw the number 5 seed. Also, with the way the top four seeds are shaping, they're isn't ANY separation from any of them...........

That siad, please forgive me for this admin:

How many dumb***es are on this site? The only team in the top 4 discussion for class A that has had a toguh schedule is STA. Again, that said, THEY HAVE 4 LOSSES! Take that into consideration you goons. They may have beat Minnetonka but they lost to every other good AA team they played. When you get two chances against Hill, you should win one especially when they are short handed. Moorhead is not top tier at this time, and the class A competition that STA has played is weaker than the class A competition LF has faced and i'm sure some of these other class A teams have played just as hard class A schedules.

In the end, STA, Little Falls, Warroad, maybe Breck and St. Cloud Cathedral, flip a coin for a winner.
