All-time points record for player on a "metro" tea

I saw an all-time player points list a while back and remember seeing the first 20 or so were not from a team in the Twin Cities. Anybody know who has the "record" and how many points?

Depending on what you believe to be Metro, it's:
Jimmy Kilpatrick with 217 points (although he split his time between Holy Angels and New Prague)
if you want someone who only spent time in the Metro, it's:
Jay Barriball with 210 points (also Holy Angels)
Now I'm sure someone will argue that Holy Angels plays a "non-Metro"
schedule and their records shouldn't count.

Although Anders Lee (STA/Edina) could be up on that record now...he passed 200 points a while back and might be over 210 now. Anyone know where he currently stands?

And as long as we're on it, Tyler Lapic (New Prague) and Danny Mattson (AHA) also went over 200 points recently. Does anyone have their career numbers?

If you go by what the Star Tribune believes are "metro" teams, wouldn't John Pohl hold the record???

What difference does it make? I know you are going to say strength of schedule, blah blah blah.
If that is the case, all of the Lake conferences schools cannot count their points vs. Kennedy for the past decade, and certainly not Rosemount this year. Also, no Hill Murray guys should be considered because of their tradtionally weak conference.
Also, if you go back a bit longer, there were some awful awful teams in the Lake conference. Rosemount used to be a given win and double-digits many times.
Johnny Pohl had some games were he was able to pad his stats. With that said, he seems to have done ok once he left Red Wing.
Congrats to Ben Hanowski on getting the new record!

You may have misread the title of the record book. [b]State Scoring Records, [/b]not metro, outstate, or whatever. Every single sport in the state has scoring records - a compilation of data from every single possible high school team/student result. Schedule strength has nothing to do with scoring records.

Forget all the arguing about strength of schedule and all that crap...I think he was just curious as to who has had the most points in a career at a Metro area school. I know that's what I was wondering when I saw the post.
Who's the all-time leading scorer in state history? Ben Hanowski, clear as can be. Who's No. 2? Johnny Pohl. You'll get no argument from me. Both great players.
But who has the most points among Metro players? That's tougher to tell.
