A Dallas Stars scout called Forbort "one of, if not, the best 1992 defensemen in the US. Forbs also plays for Team USA and made the development team in Ann Arbor but turned it down. He committed to the Sioux very early into his junior year and is rated a 3 out of 4 by the NHL scouts. Kyle Lutzka is only other junior Hound ranked, 1.5.

This class also has some pretty solid goaltenders. Meyers from BSM, Fons from Hopkins who I think is the best, and Kruger from Tonka. Who are some others?

You may not agree with the order but posting more just to look at the player list. I always find these kind of fun to look at.

Brock Nelson is the best Junior I have seen up north this year. He centers Warroad's top line and had over 60 points.

Is this the list of good juniors? Or every Junior in the state?

Well if you count Benik, who in 17 MJHL games only had 7 pts and was on one of the better teams, then the best Jr in the State isn't even playing High School hockey. The kids leading and averaging 2+ pts per game is a JR.

That list isn't even close.

Actually, I think that that list is very close. It is updated throughout the season as well.

Regarding Benik: His play in the MN jrs was almost a year ago. Some kids (even already good players) can improve over the course of a season as I suspect his has.

or in his case the competition got a lot weaker.
