Northern Lakes (18-4-3) @ St Cloud Tech (14-9-1) (8AA)

Post by HShockeywatcher »

Their only common opponent this season the St Cloud Tech Tigers beat 6-1 and the Northern Lakes Lightning beat 6-2.

On paper the Tigers should take this one easily, posting ties with both Roseau and Moorhead this season, but I wouldn't count the Lightning out of this one.

Tech will take advantage of this being the first time that they can win their section in many years. They come out ready to play and win in running time.

If tech comes out to play they win by 4. If they don't (like the last couple years in playoffs) they win by 1-2. If they play like they did against little falls, they lose by six.

I say tech 5-1

Considering Last years playoff game, I think that northern lakes may come out with a lot more energy. In all honesty, northern lakes are not a mature enough team to compete seriously with most of their section. St Cloud I think is one of the bubble teams that they can compete with I hope its a good game and northern lakes suprises everyone but....

Northern Lakes couldnt quite pull it off losing 3-0. Kept up with them most of the game though. Dont see the Tigers coming out of next week alive, they didnt look too sharp
