Haha, ok I admit I would have said the same thing if I were first to reply, but since I wasn't I will actually throw down my input. McNeely from STA is probably the best, but Stonewall is worth an Honorable Mention

Tony Nelson of Champlin Park. Just beat Elk River tonight 3-1 for his 1st every Varsity start...

McNeeley would sure be a candidate.

Mahtomedi freshman Sawyer Marshall played #1 st. thomas to a 4-4 tie on saturday with McNeeley in the other net. (I think they are still #1)

Connor Girard for Edina. Should be starting over Akeny in my opinion.

That wasnt Nelson's first start from CP. He played against Anoka and gave up seven on thursday which was his very first start. Also he is the original back-up JV goalie.

Eden Prairie has two solid goalies in Ford and Halloran. I'm not sure which was is the backup because they have split games all year.

I second that. A very capable backup who would certainly start for most teams in the state.

Michael Bitzer from Moorhead. My opinion is best back up goalie. He is a freshman and he is 7-0. And Moorhead is 12-9-3. Think about it

Yea EP kind of has a splitting thing going on but lately it has bee Ford in the bigger games so I would now call him the main guy but Halloran is still very capable.

I see that McNeely has committed to Maine according to heisenbergs site. Not bad for a backup

Bitzer

Yes Bitzer is definatly the real deal. Unlike most back up goalies he has picked up some wins against some big teams.
