Ok I would say EPs goalie is plenty ready seeing that he beat Jefferson and kept Edina to 2 goals in an OT game. Also is top sophomore goalie in the state and EP has Leddy who will probably go 1st round in the draft plus Rau who is a sophomore but is already drafted into juniors and leads the team in goals...
I say:
EP 4

This is the third year in a row that these two teams meet in this spot, each having one win. I nice little rivalry has built up here.
I liked what I saw from BSM against Hopkins and think that the key for them will be to shut down Leddy. If they can do that and Meyers stands on his head I think the Red Knights have a chance.
I like BSM in an upset 2-1

I don't think meeting in the section semifinal for 3 years in a row qualifies as a rivalry. Eden Prairie takes this one 4-1.

You can call it a rivalry being built. Granted they don’t play each other that often, but any time a team meets the same team in the
playoffs 3 years in a row. The game is going to get a little heated. Not to mention a lot of the players grew up playing with each other, which only adds fuel to the fire.
I know it’s not an established rivalry like Warroad and Roseau, but it is one being built.

I think your right, in calling it a rivalry being built, because of both of your points. One they have played each other the past three years. EP winning the first BSM winning the second. I think it keeps happening, sure call it a rivalry. I personally, think that BSM is going to win.
Mainly b/c of what Pauly did switching the lines around. Splitting up Glynn and Nelson was a good decision. Both, from my viewpoint, look to pass first and not to shoot. By getting them on separate lines, it allows them to do that more.
Also with a convincing win against Hopkins, it gives them that confidence booster, BSM needs to beat some of the better teams.

Does anyone know if leddy is hurt or not? Last game he got checked into the boards and did not play for the rest of the game! Nobody has said anything about it yet.

These teams always meet for the Sectional finals. It was Benilde last year due to thier senior leadership. I think is will be EP year due to their top seniors playing at a high level of play and the in flux of some super sophomores playing the high school game. Leddy will be ready to play.

This game comes down to coaching. Who do you think will be out coached again?

Not withstanding, EP is playing very well right now and is a stronger team. Unless Pauly can get God on his side, I don't see it being a close game.

They already have God on their side. So this game is pretty much in the bag.
