This might be THE best game. I predict Ep wins with solid goaltending.

If that was a typical performance by EP against HM, then I will have to pick Blaine in this one. This was my first time seeing EP, and I got to admit, I was expecting a lot more. Were they just nervous being young?

Have to go with EP in this one.
Blaine relies on dumping the puck and creating turnovers with their impressive forecheck as their main source for offensive opportunities. Eden Prarie's defense led by Nick Leddy have proved to be very efficient in handling the puck and making outlet passes.

Everyone looks impressive vs. Rochester. EP had the hardest first round draw and pulled through in the clutch. They certinley didn't play their best and it was a good experience for the young sophomores. I think they will be a little more calm and sharp tomorrow and pull out a 4-2 win.

Bengals 3

Harper will stone wall Mr. Hockey enough times to pull it out. Should be an awesome game though, can't wait.

The thing I noticed yesterday is how good Eden Prairie was a breaking out of their own zone. However, once they got in the offensive zone, teamwork went out the window and they started depending on one-on-one moves. I can count on one hand the number of times Leddy passed the puck in the offensive zone. They dodged one against Hill, they won't against Blaine.
4-2 Bengals

So lets see, the Bungles beat Rockchester by 5, and the Bungles are going to beat EP by 6. I know what else you can beat.

After Hill started coming back, I never got the impression they were in a sense of urgency. Leddy was far too passive about going from D to O.

Neither team was that impressive yesterday. If HM had made a couple of passes they would have won vs EP. Blaine just coasted in their win. Both teams have some top notch players, just didn't open up yesterday. Looking forward to a more entertaining game tonight but it could be a very defensive battle. HOPE NOT.
Blaine 3-2
