Hutch beat Mahtomedi today in the consolation semi-finals...anyone see that coming?

this is quite surprising, congrats to the tigers and looked luck in the consolation finals against Lourdes.

so now will everybody stop dumping on section 3A, we have found at least section that is comparable or worse

I picked Hutch over Mahtomedi in the contest. Page 4 for proof. Last post.

Yes a good win for hutchinson. good for you guys. you should be proud.
But Mahtomedi didnt have Marshal, and other than him i wasnt all impressed with him without him. yes its a good win for hutchinson and you guys should be proud of what you done.

But i still that section 3A is the worst section

Too bad Mahtomedi had to play a team that didn't even deserve to be in the State Tournement....eh????????

Mahtomedi is a totally different team without Ben Marhall, not nearly is good.
I dont get how they beat STA. but they definatly deserved to be there, they punched there ticket by beating St Thomas. with Marshall.

Hutch good for them, but they beat litchfield and new ulm???

That section is just loaded with tradition and hockey powerhouses...

I think he was poking fun at those who wrote Hutch off. defense is from 6a I believe. Relax!

It's too bad Mahtomedi misrepresented section 4A because in my opinion that is the toughest section to come out of in A with STA, Totino, and SSP..3 very good teams..congrats Hutch!

That's bull cause New Ulm was ranked 19th. Congrats to Hutch on their big win! I hope this proves that the top teams in section 3A can at least play with the best in the state at the A level.

Maybe in Lets Play Hockey but I was looking at Minnhock, they only rank the top 15 in each class, then i went by PS2 ratings for the entire state, Hutch was 70, New Ulm was 73, which makes them 29th in class A.

What ever happened with Marshal. That hit was brutal. I was expecting that to be the first injury of the tourny.
