Obviously? Everson had a hat trick today and Baker had two goals yesterday. If they produce in the Hill-Murray game either could make it.starmvp wrote:Obviously no Edina boys. Maybe Bjugstad, Leddy, Rau?, I'm still not sure though, tournament is not over.
Your a classic OTC.....No, Make that a "Typical HomeTown Boy"Obviously? Everson had a hat trick today and Baker had two goals yesterday. If they produce in the Hill-Murray game either could make it.

They traditional do not put players from the consolation bracket on the All-Tournament team. Lee has 9 pts, Everson 7, Baker and Gaarder 5 or 6 I believe.starmvp wrote:Ok maybe everson makes it, who is on Class A all tourney team?
Only one?gogriz wrote:This is one situation where I am embarrassed to be from Edina.
Trent Johnson actually, and yes well deserved. I called it during the game, just knowing everything that he has had to go through. There is a nice article on the MIAC website about his brother Cory, a formed Spud himself who was runner-up in the '05 tournament. Though the article is about his brother, the part about family gives you an idea of the type of adversity they talked about in the presentation of the award. It is a well deserved award for Trent!wtbearlk1111 wrote:#14 Moorhead Larson? Received Herb Brooks Award.
He was one of the hardest working kids in the Tourney congrats to Him
yeah only the blaine kids showed up. pretty weak to not show for something like that.starmvp wrote:It disappointed that Edina boys didn't show up. I don't think the Cretin boys showed up either.
Is Rau the only sophomore? That doesn't happen often, but he is deserving of this.fleisch wrote:AA All-tournament Team

Congrats to Trent but Nick Leddy should have won this award. He outworked every player in this tournament and anyone that saw him play all three games knows that. If anyone thinks Herb Brooks wouldn't pick Nick Leddy to be on his team out of anyone else in the tournament needs to open their eyes. Leddy deserves this award.nipeshow18 wrote:Trent Johnson actually, and yes well deserved. I called it during the game, just knowing everything that he has had to go through. More than likely Edina and Cretin's players weren't there because the ballots are turned in after the 1st period of the championship game.starmvp wrote:It disappointed that Edina boys didn't show up. I don't think the Cretin boys showed up either.
The award isn't for basically the top player in the tournament.HockeyMN1 wrote:Congrats to Trent but Nick Leddy should have won this award.
