What i want to know is why are there kids disrespecting Rob McClanahan? I mean the guy has a gold medal and beat the Soviets. Do they not realize he's a legend. I know I would be staring in disbelief of seeing him.sodbuster1 wrote:Rob McClanahan was the guest speaker this year at the peewee banquet and did a fantastic job. The only thing that bothered me was the players from one team that were talking the whole time he was speaking. He even went so far as to tell them to listen. They stopped for about 10 seconds then proceeded to talk to each other with their backs turned to him.
Actually, it was an outstate table, but he was looking at the entire player section when he said it. Let's not blow this out of proportion.sodbuster1 wrote:I'm not sure why, It was very disturbing to the ones trying to listen. These were not out-state kids, I'm sure they know the man what a legend he is.
McClannahan was a class act and the Armstrong/Cooper people really did a nice job making the event fun for the kids.sodbuster1 wrote:Yes the Armstrong Cooper Association did do a wonderful job with the banquet. Regardless of what team it was it was just plain RUDE.
