Well, it's a computer model, so it doesn't really care who holds up which trophy. It just measures how well each team did against other teams. With Edina's SOS, it's not surprising. Throw out the Moorhead game and Edina has two very impressive wins at state, while EP, though very much in control of each of their wins (particularly the last one), didn't exactly blow the opposition away.

Games are won and lost on the ICE, not on a computer.

Thank you. It is all about winning three games in sections and three games at the state to the the number 1 team in the state. Edina won the first three games as dominate team , but didn't win the fourth. Too bad. Moorhead gets no recognition for upsetting an over-hyped Edina team. Blaine as a #2 team, noooooo waaaay.

They had an impressive win vs. Bloomington, that's where it ends. They looked like they couldn't be beaten after that game.

Moorhead outplayed them, Edina showed their weakness in the tender position and overall defensive play. They went the consolation route and beat a couple of beaten down teams. In my opinion, the power rating creates interest and discussion. But, certainly doesn't reflect the inconsistency in Edina's team.

As for Eden Prairie, they played three very talented teams in the state tournament. All they did was win in the most pressure pact environment.

That was something no other team was capable of doing.
