Anyone know much about the skill level of the Califonia teams from past tournaments?

I have heard of the Jr Kings, but not the Wild Cats, don't know how competitive they will be. What about the 96 Selects (Wisconsin) and the 97 Flames (Wisconsin)? Are those Madison/Milwaukee teams? all star teams? Or made up teams to get some Metro kids past the Alliance police?

Looks like alot of good Canadian teams coming down, should be a good weekend of hockey (and beer)!

well the LA Selects 95 won a national championship. California kids can play.. and their parents pay $14 to $20k... almost like being part of mm clinic, but they are optional

There Might be only 2 Blades teams participating this weekend, but this field is stronger than the Meltdown. I dont think Easton had any teams that finished above 4th last weekend (I could be wrong, but I did not see a press release), and will be lucky to place that high this weekend.

96 Wisconsin Selects

96 Wisconsin Selects starts with a core of players from the 96 Green Bay Jr Gamblers AAA team, and add to that several select players coming mainly from north-central WI and Milwaukee. No Madison area kids.
