I am so happy for Nick!!

I have been watching him since Pee Wees and because he is from Rogers and doesn't get the exposure and publicity he was hardly mentioned?

Seems the scouts that can see true talent must know what they're doing!

Drafted ahead of many of the big PUBLICITY studs!

He is a great kid and really deserves it, he has worked his butt off.

SCSU was in the running for a few defensemen around the time they landed Nick. They missed out on a couple... to which I say "thank goodness"!! Personally, I think they got as good a player as they could have hoped for!

Hopefully he doesn't have an inferiority complex for his lack of recognition...although it appears he's played on plenty of "all star" teams and has signed D1 already He's also a defenseman...if he wanted more publicity (Anders Lee) I assume....tell him to get up to the front lines and try to make it happen...or maybe it wouldn't have worked out as well up there??
