Brendan Loney, a former OMG player, suffered a traumatic and very serious spinal chord injury earlier this month. He played for Gustavas this past season, and while I realize this is a high school site, I also know that the compassion and caring of our hockey community has no bounds.

Brendan is about to embark on a journey to further his rehab at a top notch facility in Colorado. You can follow his progress on his Caring Bridge site at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/brendanloney As you read the emotional and very moving journal entries of his sister, and the guestbook entries, I'm sure you'll be as touched by his courage and the support that surrounds him as I am. Please keep him in your prayers.

Here's the revised link. There was a period at the end that screwed up the link.
