SPREAD THE WORD. It's 12U not U12. It's 10U not U10, etc.

It's been a couple years since the terminology changed.

Seriously, the old terminology of U10, U12 and U14 is officially obsolete and it's been at least 2 years and so many still haven't caught on!

It really now is 10U, 12U and 14U. See MN Hockey. It's official!

The reason is it's for 10 and under. Not, under 10. Etc.

Here's where it chaps me even further:

Try searching a tournament on the Let's Play Hockey Website.

Do I search U10 or 10U? Or, do I search 10 U? Or, do I search U10-A, U10A, U10 A, 10U-A, 10UA or 10U A?

It's not that hard!

10UA
10UB
12UA
12UB
14UA
14UB

Forget the spaces and dashes too! Maybe Let's Play Hockey can help us on that too?

Great. Thanks for the info.

How come it isn't Squirts, Pee Wees, and Bantams?

Technically putting the u after the age is not correct either. Since depending on the birthdate one can be 13 playing 12u or 15 playin 14 etc.
