How many Minnesotan's, excluding shattuck, got drafted in the NHL draft last year? I know its early. But I personally think it might be a stretch that all the minnesota high school players listed in the A/B group, and more looking at the B group that would even get drafted by a club.

You can watch virtually all of these listed players in one location at the upcoming Elite I Invite playoffs in New Hope. It is one place where you can see how these guys stack up against top talent, rather than watch them rack up points against lower HS teams.

Herbert should move up into A when the new list comes out. He's really improved over the summer and I believe he leads elite league in points, and despite his size I see him being a really solid D1 player and a good recruit for an NHL team. He could very well lead the state in scoring this year for AA if he isn't taking penalties every game. He shdoul lead the Jags in the right direction.

Not to take anything away from Herbert, but i would have to think Benik will lead the state in scoring.

i personally dont see gothberg as high as everyone else sums him up to be. remember hes playing in single A and hasnt faced to much of a compotition with thiefs schedule. When he brings the Prowlers to state then we can talk but I see the garentee warriors making another trip to the dance.

He plays 50% AA in the conference and non-conference game and he is the real deal.

This is a pretty early preliminary view. There will be players moving up and down as the season progresses
