The All American is this weekend. It's a good indicator for a lot of teams outside of the western suburbs. Let's get your predicitions for 1st in each. Mine is WI Wild for the American (basically a AAA or Rainbow), Mounds View in the National (Good crop of talented players), Duluth in the B's (Only enough for one team in hockey town?!)

12UA American Division
Anoka, Apple Valley, Farmington, Wisconsin Wild, Highland Central, Yellowjackets (?)

12UA National Division
Riverhawks (Annondale/Andover), Roseville, CSGHA, Winnetka, Mounds View, Sabres (?), Andover, N St. Paul

12UB
Blaine C/R, Rogers, Centennial, Burnsville, Anoka, Duluth, St. Francis, Silver Bay

Well, Mounds View won't be winning the National Division as they were defeated by the North Wright County River Hawks 5-0 in the opening game. BTW the River Hawks are made up of girls mainly from St. Michael/Albertville and Monticello.

Yellowjackets are from Crystal Lake, Illinois.

Sabres are from Naperville, Illinois.

Winnetka was at the All American as well. They are of course from Winnetka, Illinois.

What was your impression of any of these squads? I know we enjoyed the opportunity to play the Minnesota U12 teams.
