I've been out of the loop for a while here and I'm sure I'm missing some players who have committed to the Gophers already. Which current high school players have committed other than Wilcox, Isaackson, Marshall and Bjugstad?

This isn't very recent. I know it is missing at least one for Minnesota, Justin Holl from Minnetonka.

Has marshall grown at all. he seemed pretty small last year. Looks like Ness, very skilled but physically ready for the big guys? these are 22-25 year old men. This is the problem woog had, take the best players and play 18 yo against ND and its 24 yo canucks? fell into the minnesota high school hockey trap. Will he get out? he did great when he took a kid from ND and Wisc and Austria, but now its almost all MN and look.... struggling with all these talented little kids from Minny and the big ones leave early? I think he's a good coach, but he got sucked into MN in a bad way.

Still small. The thing is IF, and IF is the big statement, Lucia keeps the guys he has Recruited around they will win. He has the biggest roster ever coming in with Ambroz, Gardiner, Alt, Buddish, Walters(always been scrappy)Youso, Haula, Bjugstad, Holl, Issackson, Schmidt and Scott. They will put the Pride back on the Ice over at the Mooch.

and nightman, if you are aware of wilcox ( i think he is the most recent recruit) you are probably as up to date as the rest of us - maybe more so.

When is your list of players coming in? They won't all come in at the same time. Depending on who turns pro, there won't be room for all. For example, Walters has been told he will play another year in the USHL.
Agree its a long shot regarding all staying 4 years.
FYI, Buddish is already there.

Is this true that Walters isn't coming in next year? I thought he was a for sure 2010 player.

Sorry I wasn't specific enough with the dates they step on the ice. They are just some of the talent coming in that will adderss some of the size issues and hopefully they stick around more then a year. This group now has too many guys with no Jr experience, the future looks like it will have more of that.
