Eastview- 1
Apple Valley- 2
FINAL
Shots: AV- 44 EV- 13
Goal Scorers: Cobb (EV) Goodman (AV) Heuer (AV)
I think those are right if I'm remembering right.
O'Shea was the only thing keeping this from getting out of hand. He played very well. Eastview will have a long year and O'Shea will see lots of shots all year. AV won the game with 2 3rd period goals including 1 with :11 seconds left. Valley hade good play from the sophomores and also Fasching the freshman you won't be able to tell he is a freshman. AV was missing Smith (D) today due to a coaches suspension for the first two games and that showed but they still had 4 good defenseman playing. Forwards played well but selfish at times I thought. Gretz had a good game except I thought you could have made a play on the puck rather letting it slide across for EV's player to slam it home for their lone goal. Should be a good year for the Eagles. EV will rely on O'Shea to pull any upsets along the way this year.
