Is there anyone that has information that they would care to share on any team or player to watch for this season in the M8?

Cambridge-Isanti is one team bringing back a good group from last year (Although they lost a couple ).. The other teams got hit very
hard from graduation.

Nice win over C-E-C on 12/15 in Isanti, 3-1. Good to see boys coming together and playing 3 periods of solid hockey. Need to improve on shots on goal and spending less time in the sin bin. Two players leading the team with 6 points (2 goals, 4 assists) and goaltending has been very strong so far this season. Next game vs Chisago in Isanti should be another good game and will take the team working well together.

Cambridge won't even be in the top 3 of this conference. Sure the Cloquet win looks good because of their history compared to Cambridge, but Cloquet is not a good team this year. Top 3 teams in this conference will be Rogers and Buffalo as usual, and also throw Princeton in that mix.

Didn't Cloquet ("not good team") beat Buffalo 7-2?

Rogers for sure will be up there. Princeton and Cambridge have one good line each but can compete with anyone in conference. Goaltending will make the difference

Your right. I take that back. Taking a look at it the conference is really down this year. Its not really much of a power house conference obciously, but definitely not as good as it has been in its short history. I'll say Rogers takes it, with Princeton, Cambridge, buffalo, and St. Michael fighting for 2nd.

I will take Princetons first line over Cambridge, but Soderquist from Cambridge is the best goalie in the conference. So that will be a good match up. I'll guess a split between the 2, both be 1 goal games.

Cambridge pretty much erases a decent win over Cloquet with a bad loss to Chisago.

Not sure why this coaching staff is trying to skate 3 lines. There are not 3 lines of varsity players in Cambridge. Forget about whose dad is a coach and play your best players.

Not to mention play your best goalie as well.

The difference between a hockey town and a non-hockey town!
