According to Kevin Allenspach of the St. Cloud Times, Garrett Hendrickson committed has to SCSU.

I wonder why UMD was so late in the game?

I'm no scout, but the couple of times I've seen Garrett play I've been impressed. Recently, he led Team North in scoring for the Elite League. As a sophmore, he trailed only senior Chris Westin in team scoring. With Bjugstad accelerating, I think Garrett could be in the running for Mr. Hockey next season... agreed?

Exiled makes a good point, where was UMD? And why did they let Stalock's cousin Wilcox get away? I heard he wanted to be a Dog.

Agreed. He'll be a very nice player for the Huskies in a couple years.

It's my understanding Sandelin wanted Garrett to play a year of juniors before joining the Bulldogs, and in general did not appear too excited about having him in Duluth.

Motzko, on the other hand, was very pumped up and demonstrated that he wanted him in St. Cloud. He also was happy to have him on campus straight out of HS.
