Predictions for this game?

considering Stillwater's dominant win over Roseville and Woodbury's loss to Park, I'm picking Stillwater 4-1.

I REALLY hope I'm wrong, though.

Considering what BSM and CDH did to Stillwater I would guess that Woodbury would win..........for some reason I dont think so. Stillwater seems to be getting on track. Look out woodbury. Wow I cant believe I just said that.

Call it parity, or call it "any given night", but it's too hard to call. BSM had a big win versus Stillwater, but was outplayed by Hill. Woodbury loses to Park, plays great versus Tartan. Stillwater goes into Rapids and beats them and whoops up on Roseville.

I am giving the edge to Stillwater, on home ice, off a solid win, and off a Woodbury loss. Ponies 3-2.

Parity or shaking the bugs out. We lost 2 starters in GR and a 3rd vs BSM. Screwed lines up for CDH, normally wouldn't matter but it's early in the year. BSM lookedl ike the team we faced in the first period vs Hill but then disappeared for the next 2 periods and looked pretty human. Woodbury has looked flat, but are they saving it for the end rather then start hot out the gate and fumble in the end??

Either way looking for a great game tonight.

Stillwater does seem to have a great deal of depth. Three solid lines up front and six solid D. Were things just mixed up at BSM and CDH......we will see. Based on the Roseville score I guess I agree with yournblood08. Time will tell.

Sounds like a blow out. Was the game any good?

It was a good game definately not a blow out but Woodbury controlled a lot of the game. Shots were about 43-27.

Hopefully woodbury has gotten their swagger back.

1 - Stillwater had Woodbury in a vulnerable position at the start of the game and didn't take advantage of it. They came out afraid of what Woodbury COULD be.

2- Sucks having a Ref that felt we were there to watch him. #1 rule as a ref "Do not antagonize Players" make your call, put him in the box. Not open the door 3 times to continue arguing with the player that you just put in the box for a BS call anyways. Every whistle he had something to say to one or more of the players. Ref the game and shut your yap!!! Games like this one it wasn't the # of penalties called it was When he called them. It seemed like Stillwater's 1st line had 1 shift together in the 2nd period due to skating SH'd. He even held the Summit talks between the 2nd and 3rd period until the Zamboni almost took the 3 officals and 2 captians out, telling them he wasn't going to put up with any more crap. It wasn't even close to that type of game.

3 - Stillwater boys better pull thier heads out of the clouds, a win vs Roseville ain't going to put you in the State Tourney you have to show up and play every game, every shift no matter how good you think you are. Same Dr Jeckyl and Mr Hyde as last year. Just that the dissappointment is greater as is the talent.

4 - Woodbury parents stated this was the best they have played to date.

Glad we could help you out of your slump.........

Typical Youngblood. I've heard concerns about long bus ride, injuries, line changes, and refs. My goodness, anything else?? Quit trying to justify Stillwater's play already. They are a decent team trying to live up to the hype of making it to a section final last year.

Relax. They are not gonna win a conferense title (again) but they could make another long run in sections (or pull a Tartan and get bounced in the 1st rd...I love throwing that in whenever possible). There is talent there & I'm sure Housley will work his majic (my typical shot at Housley).

Simple rule: When ya win, say little. When ya lose, say even less.

They played like crap. Dont' really think I was making any excuses, gave BSM thier due they played great when we faced them, last night Woodbury was ripe and we gave them life. Someone asked if it was a blow out wasn't even close. Both teams had problems with the Ref in question.

It would be nice if you just said nothing. Shouldn't you be at Church?

youngblood08, your Pony's confuse me. Seems like they get blown out or win big. What is up with the close games. Players need to come prepared and ready to play. This does not seem to be happening. Where are the big guns?

Stillwater is usually a very good hockey team. When they come to play they really come to play. Woodbury did that this game. After a hard lose to Park, they needed this win to boost their ego back up. Way to go Woodbury.
