As much as I'd like to see WBL win this game, I dont think they can match up with STA right now. Although they beat Centennial despite being outplayed last year in the Schwanns quarters, I dont see this happening against the Cadets. S

I have said many times off the ice that WBL will struggle to win games unless it scores more than 4 goals versus these top teams. STA's Christian Isackson was injured during the Minnetonka game, and it is not reported yet the extent. It will be huge if he can't go vs WBL. STA was controlling Tonka until he left the game.
STA has 5 players with as many or more points than WBL's leading scorer, Brandon Wahlin.
Kurt Altrichter, STA's touted goalie, has had some struggles this year giving up 5 goals vs Tartan and 4 vs Tonka when approaching 30 shots, so the Bears will need to put some pressure on with quality shots.

The coaching staff has requested more positiveness from me - ERRR "questions" me as to how I show some negative commentary ... that pissed me off when kurt left wbl i used to be good buds with him, knew him since kindergarten, and now what can i say i thought he was straight but then he goes to an all boys school

WBL coaching staff deserves criticism. Maybe they should be worried more with putting the best team possible on the ice rather than reading this message board.
I dont know how this group of players feel about his style, but knowing from previous years, Sager was not their favorite coach.
Aside from those types of issues, he's lost 11 straight to HM. I know he's not from around WBL, so maybe he doesnt realize the implications of that kind of streak..but that is comparable to OSU beating Michigan 11 straight or vice versa. A coaching move would have to be made twice.
The Bears have outplayed HM in the last 3 section finals games, all while losing. This is where Sager does well. He somehow gets his team to play above their talent level at the end of the season. Goaltending has killed WBL, and this year I dont see how he could possibly turn the team around to top HM in the sections. If he does, hes a genius, if he doesnt, Jackson should be looking for a new coach

Attended the WBL/Centennial game last year. Thought it was sloppy by both teams; high scoring affair that went the Bears' way. WBL and STA can both score. I think the goalies will play the difference in this game. I pick the team with the goalie from WBL...oh wait that's both of them.
Hopefully the cable company decides to give me FSN, not FS-wi that day...

How many of those 6 goals were scored by WBL's first line, which has all graduated. How is Wahlin doing this year on the team? I know his grandpa and his uncle (I haven't seen them since the season started). I've heard good things about him over the years.

If anything, I think Brandon has a tendency to be a little too unselfish, and that is something I have had conversations with his father on, that he needs to take more shots on 2 on 1s, with the intent of Birki and Wolter looking for rebounds.
He has great imagination, can snipe with the best of them from the circles in... has great hands.... has exceptional feet and balance... and good speed with great elusiveness... And.... is probably more dangerous as a penalty killer than 5 on 5...

Sounds like he's doing great, glad to hear it. I worked with his grandpa for a short time before he retired and I know his uncle from Woodbury. STA comes with too much for WBL. #21 is gonna start paying the price for playing cheep. Yep, I said it, cheeeeeeeep. What is with all the cheep shots and stick action? Play the game like it should be played. STA 4, WBL 2
