I believe teams are seeded according to a coaches poll from the teams in that section. Games against other section opponents during the regular season mean alot come seeding time. Someone correct me if I am wrong.kkkkkkkkkk wrote:How does it work?
Nope, you're right. In some situations , a team who is 9-15 may get the #1 seed ahead of a 20-4 team. The 9-15 has played a decent schedule and the 20-4 is in breakout year playing in a schedule of perrenially weak teams. This is very common in the lower seeds. That is why they vote on it.HappyHockeyFan wrote:I believe teams are seeded according to a coaches poll from the teams in that section.
