A little off topic... but if anyone saw last nights interview with Tony Lucia after the gopher game. On a number of occasions he said it was a big win for the "program". haha and not the "team". What player unless your the coaches kid says its a big win for the "program".

Does Coach Lucia pass again on recruiting the highly talented Kyle Rau kid from EP high school team, unlike the older brother Chad Rau, local player that lit up the WCHA at Colorado. The Don needs to get this high profile player in his program. This kid is a four year player and will bring this program back.

If he is comperable to Chad Rau and a four year type player, I say sign him up!

The Don needs to build a total team that will some form of senior leadership. It is great to watch the young kids to compete in the WCHA on the gophers team, but you win with kids playing into their junior and senior seasons.

That is so funny, everyone I was watching the game with said the exact same thing. "Wow, the coach couldn't have said it better, oh wait, it kind of was the coach talking!!"

Rau should be high on his list, he likes small players.

Interesting, alot of people criticize Mike Eaves at UW for the same things. They say he recruits "too good" because he keeps getting these ultra talented one and done players that are good but they leave the program in a constant state of inconsistancy. That is UNTIL you finally get a season, like this season, where guys unexpectedly do stay and additional year or two and now you have a very talented AND mature team that can make a run at another national title. All programs do things differently, that's for sure but doing it this way isn't horrible as long as you get those seasons and those "runs" every few years to balance out the in between years.
