It was a good game, a clear advantage to the women is that Century wouldn't check anyone, or drive to the net, or clear out the front of their own net. The worst possible situation would be for anyone to get hurt on either team so the game was played under high school rules but played like an exhibition. The women have better positioning and move the puck well but don't have the size or speed, if Century wanted to play "boys" hockey it would have been different. The women killed off two penalties and scored on their only power play. A nice crowd of about 2,500 saw the game and got very good entertainment.
