It's game #2 on the FSN North High School Hockey schedule as the Moorhead Spuds travel to Grand Rapids to take on the Thunderhawks, LIVE on FSN North at 7:30 PM tomorrow night!<br><br>Any thoughts/comments/analysis/predictions on this big Friday night northern tilt?<br><br>By the way, watch for a guy banging the heck out of a cow bell in the GR Pep Band. I fear this could be a let down game for Moorhead... a hard fought game with Roseau on Tuesday may have the tank on empty at GR... with that said I will never doubt Dave Morinville and the Spuds... they are to well coached and they have to much pride, they expect to win every night... Spuds in a tight one... <p></p><i></i>

That is my pick too Husker...Spuds in a very tight matchup that goes right down to the wire. I am expecting a very good game from both clubs. Not certain what Moorhead has this season just going on their past accomplishments in the prediction. <p></p><i></i>

Grand Rapids will have to play mistake free hockey to win this game. Moorhead is always tough. However, Reider Jensen gives Rapids a chance to win every game. Both teams are coached well. Rapids scores late in the 3rd to take this one 3-2. <p></p><i></i>

I like Pat Dietz for Moorhead... good forward... the goaltending is young and untested... Moorhead plays a brutal schedule... they have to win games like this if they plan on having an appealing record at the end of the season... I will be interested to see how they handle this matchup... <p></p><i></i>

Moorhead has got way too much pride in the M they are wearing and have continued to improve from game one. Moorhead takes this one 5-2. <p></p><i></i>

I'll take Moorhead over GR 5-3...I look for Pat Deitz of Moorhead to have a couple goals and maybe an assist or 2, I've been very impressed with him on every shift he's been on the ice. Moorhead's defence hasn't been too hot, but they picked it up a little bit in the last game and I look for them to do the same again. <p></p><i></i>

Spuds win this 5-3. Probably tied going into the third period with Moorhead scoring 2 goals in the third to seal the win. Hopefully Moorhead continues to improve their play. <p></p><i></i>

I am with bluesbuddy on this one. The Fabulous Thunderbirds of 2005-2006 are bringing their lunch pail tomorrow night and will pull the upset victory over the mighty Spud from Meerhead. Micks office will be a jumping with T-Bird fans a plenty. I fully expect the same tempo we all were treated to in CEC vs Rapids. I'm sure the Warriors will welcome another opportunity to play GR. <br>Section 7 is loaded this year as we are seeing in the matchups. Moorhead is very good again, but not as in years past. <br>Don't be surprised if GR beats them with the Roseau hangover and all. Despite the fact that GR is a good team!<br><br>For the HS Hockey Fans that we all are, Section 7 and 8 playoffs are shaping up to be very entertaining!
