This should be a battle as both teams have been playing well as of late.
Who wins?

I think Burnsville is due for an upset as they have been playing really well. I think the wildcats finally suffer a tough loss in this one.
I say 4-3 Blaze (maybe OT)

3-1 Burnsville - playing at home and not on the big sheet will be the difference.

In Burnsville on a realistically sized sheet of ice I'll take the Blaze 3-0. In Eagan would be another story.

Both teams have been playing well as of late, and Eagan all year, but Eagan's offense has done a much better job at pounding the net and creating shots - big sheet of ice or not.

The good news is that Bodhi Engum of Burnsville and Tommy Bodeker of Eagan have both been very, very good in nets... It won't matter how many shots are on goal..... I look for a 1-1 or 2-2 tie, in what might be the most exciting game of the season for both teams.

I might consider the EP win the most exciting of the year for Eagan. They have never really had much success against EP so to beat them was great.

Ah ha, my good pal, playah playah...... This game hasn't been played yet!! I am predicting that this game will be end-to-end, fantastic save after fantastic save, hit-after-hit, and even better than the EP game!!!!

But what do I know?? I haven't been near the cities of Eagan, Burnsville nor Eden Prairie in a year!!!

I predict an 8-2 blowout by Burnsville!!

You have to think that Eagan's youth is part of this, hyped for the big game against EP at home after getting smoked on the road against the same. Not a great showing against LVN but it's a win and then getting rocked against a good but inconsistant B'ville team.

This is what makes HS hockey so much fun as it's kids playing with so much emotion and so many other things going on in their lives so you're never quite sure what the outcome will be.

Eagan came out quick and scored 2 goals on some early errors by BV. Burnsville's goalie, Bodhi Engum, played fantastic the rest of the way not giving up another goal. BV fought their way back and then Adam Smyth sealed the deal with a 3 in a row hat trick for the 4th, 5th & 6th goal. The final 8-2 seems like a blowout but this game was 3-2 going into the 3rd period.

Yeah... StarMostValuablePredictor, I figured after I touted a 2-2 or 1-1 tie, and that it might be the most exciting game of the year for both teams, but also noted "what do I know?", that if I tried to sneak in my 8-2 Burnsville prediction, I would be thought of a as a genius.

Sid Hartman just called me and said "Aaaaghhh.. All you geniuses out there don't have a clue - especially you, Goldfishdude."

Despite being a self-imposed moron, atleast I can provide some entertainment, eh??
