WBL vs FL JV game cancelled 2/2

Got a text from son at 1130am that they cancelled the JV game tonight due to caucus...WBL said that they can't have games between 6-8pm tonight...what the heck...didn't they know this before 11:30am day of game? Is it just hockey or is it all sports?
