Forest lake beats Cretin and White Bear over Stillwater. What does this mean for conference standings? and did the Bears lock up the #2 seed in 4AA?

I think it would either take a miraculous collapse on the part of WBL to lose #2, or a fantastic finish by Tartan to move into #2. By all means, WBL could very well still finish #3 in SEC, but I think the best Stillwater can hope for is #4 in sections at this point.

really? I think the Bears forsure get #2 but Tartan in front of Stillwater for #3, how does that happen?

Actually... haven't checked Tartan's last 4 games, but against similar competition, they were right in line with WBL... I guess Stillwater could still get #3. Tartan has H-M, STA and Mahtomedi twice each (I feel better conference foes than we have in SEC) and have played STA better than WBL and lost 3-0 to H-M to WBL's 5-0, 4-3... I don't know how many section teams Tartan has played.

A quick look has Tartan with a tie vs Mounds View (WBL split) and a 6-5 OT win versus Park.... so I would assume they seedings would then look at some common opponents?????? Ponies have yet to lose to the other teams, so that could be enough to squeeze them to #3.

Yah great points. It will be interesting to see how they determine the seedings. If Stillwater wins 4 out of the 5 last games I can see them in the #3 seed but if not we will be seeing Hill in the semis

As far as SEC??

1. WBL 14 games 21 points
2. FLake 14 games 20 points
2. Woodbury 13 games 20 points
4. Stillwater 14 games 18 points
5. CDH 12 games 16 ponts

Woodbury game in hand - if assume win, and they have SEC lead.

WBL now has definite head-to-head over FLake (goals), Stillwater, and beat CDH in first meeting

FLake has def. head-to-head vs Woodbury

Woodbury definte vs Stillwater, has edge vs WBL and CDH

CDH definite dge vs Stillwater (goals) and FLake (goals)

Stillwater has edge vs FLake

What site you using? Need to update a little sooner. I added games left and moved CDH up with added games and Woodbury up with added points

Looks like STillwater and Flake have the most points to gain at the end , as the teams they play aren't in the mix, besides their game Saturday. But Stillwater can only max at 26 and Flake 28.

How about my spoiler pick with Hastings almost taking out Woodbury last night?
