Lets change this..... Which three teams will make it to regions?

Anything can happen in District tourney games: Blaine, Centennial, Coon Rapids. Blaine good young team fast/physical, Centennial moves the puck well capitalizes on power plays, Coon Rapids has talent started the season slow gaining momentum, Andover started the season with a great start, but has not gained much since then, Elk River just a good average team, Rogers good for the 1st period and a half and dies off not deep enough, St. Cloud in the ranks with Elk River, Princeton hanging in there by a thread. I wanted to give the 3rd seed to Andover, but due to staying stable for a while and Coon Rapids improving I went with CR??

WOW! Blaine has blown it for just about everyone. That turns this tournament into a marathon run for the third seed.

#1 will be tourney winner
#2 will be Blaine
#3 will be an Iron man

side note: does Centennial miss Coach Ras that much? I can't remember a time he was coaching that they missed regions?

St.Cloud will walk the rest of this one. They have all the tools including coaching.

Elk River isn't that good

and

Coon Rapids coaching isn't good enough to get them through. Misfit toys!

Very good playoff game.
St.Cloud carried play in the first.
CR's goalie played well.
Only goal was a tipped shot from the point in the second.
St.Cloud missed three breakaways
Two CR penalties, None on St.Cloud.
CR really buzzed the last three minutes hard.

Who would of thought Elk River and St. Cloud will be playing in the Championship game. That's why it's fun during Tournament time as anything can happen. On the back door side could become interesting also, Blaine vs. Andover, Blaine has beaten Andover twice in regular season play by 1 goal in each of the 2 visits. Coon Rapids vs. Princeton, they have split during regular season play Princeton winning by 2 and Coon Rapids winning by 6. It all comes down to who shows up to play and coaching. I will have to say IF Blaine does not make it to the Consolation Championship game then either Andover or Coon Rapids Will advance to the Regions by beating the loser of the Elk River/St. Cloud game

Appears to me some of the Coon Rapids players have open enrolled at Blaine H.S. for next year if what was said is to be true

We will know by game time - the paperwork needs to be done by March first - unless the school district is open on Sunday?

Who really cares who is going to what school. This is a forum about who will win the D10 Dist Tournament.
