Centennial 3 Elk River 1

Centennial has been improving with every game. A month ago, I thought Section 5 was all Blaine's. Blaine, though still winning, seems to have taken a step backwards. At this point, I'd pick Centennial to win section 5. I know that seems off the topic, but that's part of the reason I'm taking the Cougars over the Elks. Much improvement since the last meeting!

Sars will be in rare form, yelling "Body, body..." every shift...

Aus will be as stoic as ever... :P

thers no way centenial will win section 5, i've seen both blaine and cent. play a few times and it's not even close, you better not take a penalty against blaine ask the elks about that one, blaine will win section 5

I wouldn't suggest you take a penalty against cent or Blaine.

Blaine's PP is running at a state high of 40.66% , while Centennial is at an average PP % of about 25%. I don't think Centennial has the scoring strength as Blaine on the PP.

I would suggest not taking penalties period, but would highly recommend not taking them against Blaine!

I feel like somebody is going to yell at me for going off topic here...but I have seen both Blaine and Centennial play...many times each. Centennial about 15 games and Blaine 8. I'm just saying Blaine seems to have lost something since the beginning of the season where as Centennial seems to have stepped it up quite a bit. Back on the topic. Now I have seen Elk River twice. I haven't heard Sarsland yelling like he used to. Was it just those two games or has he toned it down. I know he used to be much louder in past years. I still say Cougars 3 Elks 1.

I wouldnt call outshooting a team 31-11 even.

11 shots on net in 59 minutes of hockey.

I have never seen a team win just because they had more shots. Goals are what matters.

If you were at the game the shot counter was horrible, both ways.

just a reminder, but the elks beat them earlier in the season 2-1 in ot thats why i said to even teams and yes i think the guy keeping shots had a bad night!!!! they were out shot but the elks are usually outshot in every game
