Curious to know as much as possible about how the section seeding works and the dates for the publicizing of the seeding

1. At a certain date, the coaches meet (most likely online in some capacity) and all vote for their section's seeding, seeding every team but their own. I think the top and bottom votes are thrown out and the seeds are made.grandmeadowhockeyfan wrote:Curious to know as much as possible about how the section seeding works and the dates for the publicizing of the seeding

Not sure how tiebreakers are done.
2. The date is different for every section. Those would be good to know. It is disappointing, though, that it is often before all games are played and some teams have games that would be beneficial for seeding after seeding is done.
Try the MNHSL website for this info? That's the first place I would look - if I was concerned about it.northhockey1994 wrote:Do you have any proof of this? i got called an idiot when i said this

When you said what? I'm simply re-saying what I've heard on here. Each section does (can do) their own date, way, throw out/not throw out, etc, I think.northhockey1994 wrote:Do you have any proof of this? i got called an idiot when i said this
