The bracket is shown on mnhockeyhub and sort of below
Edina Vs Kennedy
Holy Angels Vs Chaska/Chan (aka Chaska Tier 1 vs Chaska Tier 2)
Jefferson vs Prior Lake
Burnsville vs Shakopee
First rounds are obvious winners like always, but what are the predictions throughout the section playoffs? I'm curious to know.

Semifinal Predictions
Edina 5
Holy Angels 4
Jefferson 4 (OT)
Burnsville 3
I doubt I'll be right with the exact scores but what I confident on is both games are going very exciting and the atmosphere is going to be out of control. Sometimes, I think sections is the best part of the season.

Chaska gets their players from all over just like AHA?
AHA over Edina 5 - 3
Jeff or Burnsville don't matter
AHA wins the section.

I agree. Winner of Edina/AHA will probably win. They are the top two teams in the section.

No, AHA got most of their top end talent from Chaska. And good luck to AHA's defensemen against Edina. I don't think they stand much of a chance unless Burke plays out of his mind.

Just curious...what makes you rank Holy Angels above Burnsville and Jefferson?

Edina BV, or Jefferson will destroy AHA D. Those 3 teams are BIG, fast and physical. But Tommy Burke could steal, look out.

Tying Edina
I would say that Burnsville has proven they are a good team and possibly better than AHA, but, to the fault of both teams, they have not played so we won't know. While AHA has more losses, they are mostly to teams that are quite good. Jefferson simply hasn't proven much with their schedule imo, aside from that they can play with anyone, but also lose to anyone.

once again hshw bases his 2AA rankings on 2 games that happened long ago:
edina over burnsville in week 1 of the season, and
edina and aha tying in january

I was at the Jefferson vs Burnsville game yesterday. That is the only time I have seen them play and think that B'ville is better. They played harder and looked much better. I saw flaws in each team that is probably because of the conference and how they play in that conference.
Yes AHA will have trouble with the D. but the D will have to try and stop the crafty skating and small size of AHA. No team in the state plays harder than SSM and AHA stayed with them the whole game, leading most of the way.
I never pick my team to lose and that is why I pick them to some out of the section. I am guessing that AHA will play B'ville for the final.

Besides beating Wayzata. But hey, that counts for nothing. I mean beating the team that beat Edina three times is far less an accomplishment than tying Edina.
And Zamman...did you see the first period when Jefferson outshot Burnsville 15 to 5. I'm sorry but Jefferson was the better team throughout and Burnsville simply won because of both side's goaltending. Shots and possession were not even close.

The problem with Jefferson is they play down to their opponents level sometimes. Lakeville North wasn't the worst team in the world this year either, though. But still, they should have scraped them.
And AHA will not win this section but I can see them upsetting Edina.

They weren't the worst team but a 8-15-2 record must mae them top in state right?

Well, I'm not sure it mae's them top in state. And nobody ever said that the games Jefferson had vs. Lakeville North were good games or any indication of how good this team is. These games still don't take away what Jefferson did in the Wayzata game or in any other games in which they were extremely impressive. Jefferson looked practically untouchable in certain instances this year (Moorhead, 1st 2 periods vs. EP, 1st Centennial game). They have a weakness in net, but I think they'll find a way to overcome it. Pauluk did break the blocked shots record for Jefferson.

I'd have to say that Jefferson has a very very good team but lacks goaltending when needed. They did lose to lakeville north and other teams like Eagan etc. That is why they ended up with the 3rd seed.
To count a very hot team like Burnsville out is very naive, they have played a very strong end of the season and definitely have a legitimate shot at beating both AHA and Edina.

all top 3 teams all are capable of coming out of this section. i just cant see aha coming out with the talent and in your face play the other 3 teams possess. aha is to soft and will get run over. The last few years they havn't had the gritty tough players and that has hurt them obviously. As far as the possible bville jag rematch that has to be the game of this section. With the teams splitting and so many questions coming from both sides this game will be the most intriguing game of this section. The winner of that game has to be my winner.
