I'm not sure if anyone heard but an inquiry to the MSHSL was made into the Sartell vs Fergus Falls section 6A semi on Saturday. Fergus Falls had a penalty shot in OT and the puck crossed the goal line but the goal was disallowed due to forward progress of the puck being stopped but the rule says that the puck is still live if it hits the pipe and it did. The MSHSL says they official got it wrong but there is nothing they can do. My question is why can't it be overturned. It was not a call that turned the tide of the game it would have ended it. This is not sour grapes I would just like some opinions.

I think they should make it right.

I knew I should've convinced the wife to go to this one. But if I would've been there it wouldn't have been as good a game.
As far as I have ever known, the puck has to actually stop. It only makes sense.
