Just because a team makes it to State, doesn't make them a top 10 team. EGF is MAYBE in the top 18 - 20 range at best. Cloquet same thing.

Its funny how cloquet has beat east, rapids, burnsville, roseau, Centenial, Blaine, moundsview, white bear lake twice and there still ranked 20th thats weird.

we get it your on cloquet and your number 17 but i get what your saying city teams have a better chance at getting ranked. it just shows rankings mean nothing.

MnHockeyRankings - Tells the whole story -where as Nothern Hockey 11 didn't really go there- it looks like although they beat East, they also lost to them 5 times. They beat Grand Rapids, but lost to them twice. As far as Moundsview, White Bear, and a Split with Cenntennial - they are, and have been 15 -20 ranked teams all year. I also see 2 losses to 29th ranked Hermantown. All being said, Cloquet has established itself as a 15 -20 ranked team. You can argue about a couple of spots - but all in all the numbers don't lie.
