With Heinonen coming back being one of the leading scorers in the state, they should have a pretty good squad. What do you think?

LOL, I don't know about you slapshot but I woke up this morning and the first thing that came to mind was "Delano Tigers, 2011 Class A champs"slapshot445 wrote:haha you are obviously on the team, or closely related to someone on the team. seriously though they would be lucky to make it to the section finals next year, not a very talented team. just big.
I am not on the team, nor am i relative of Mr. Heinonen. But with a player of his caliber, a team cannot be terrible by any means.slapshot445 wrote:haha you are obviously on the team, or closely related to someone on the team. seriously though they would be lucky to make it to the section finals next year, not a very talented team. just big.

He's got Wisco hot on his heels, and Mich. Tech has pretty much already offered him a scholarship. I'm sure he would manage a way to make a Junior team.mulefarm wrote:Easier said than done. Especially USHL and NAHL.
I have to say, I know of a very talented player on a not very good team, and it is hard for one player to try to overcome not only the other team and the officials, but their own team too, hockey is truely a team sport!GaborikFan wrote:I am not on the team, nor am i relative of Mr. Heinonen. Just like they are everywhere... Do you mean every year?MNHocker444 wrote:Delano is going to be below average, just like they are everywhere. Play too easy of a schedule and they take too many penalties because they all think they're top guns. Heinonen (Spelling?) is good but should have left that town in a heartbeat. He is not getting any better playing with a team like Delano.
Have you seen St. Francis play the last three years?[/quote]justaguess wrote:I am not on the team, nor am i relative of Mr. Heinonen. But with a player of his caliber, a team cannot be terrible by any means.
