This is only for USA Hockey affiliated teams, i.e these are teams considered "Clubs" by their high schools but it is interesting that USA Hockey was able to get 24 high school teams from around the country to spend the money to come to Chicago and compete for 5 days.

Looks like the two Illinois teams (ranked #70 and #210 in the USHSHO National Rankings) both made the semifinals.

Also this weekend is the conclusion of Americas Showcase (Formerly the Chicago Showcase and now without MN, MI, WI, and ND who were four of the best teams year in and year out)

I believe that the inaugural Minnesota Showcase, featuring the aforementioned Team MN, Team WI, Team MI and Team ND and the MN U17s is scheduled for next weekend.
