Finally Prettyman has stepped down. Great person and excellent assistant coach. Just didn't have it as a head coach. I was very tired of seeing a lot of teams with great potential have mediocore seasons under him. Good Luck Mike. Looking forward to this season.

You left out the part where he hasn't had much to work with. He did just fine with sub par players in a sub par conference.

Are you kidding me! Subpar players, Jake Youso, Matt Youso, Willie Corrin, Brady Hjelle, only to name a few. If these guys are subpar, what does it take in your book to be a good player. Be serious! Maybe great players with a subpar coach. What are you smokin?

Gretzky was great. Yuoso was the 41st leading scorer in the NAHL during his 20 year old season. I guess he's great in Owatonna.
Just another example of a player who dominates nordern MN until they play with the big boys and then they find out they might just be avg. Sachetti, Ness, White, etc.
Falls won 3 league games this year and 2 were against eveleth/gilbert so don't blame everything on the coach.

Kind of like Schroeder, Fisher, Barriball, Hoeffel who really lit it up down at the U. Image
Whats your point? The gophers are crappy? I would agree to that! Image

Barribal did rip it up when he got to the U leading a team with Okposo, wheeler, stoa and other good players in scoring. He had a little sophomore slump but is already over 100 points going into his sr year. Not bad. He had more points his Freshman yr than ness, sachetti, and white combined. Not sure if Yuoso will come to the U but he might have to have a decent Fr season to catch those guys up to Barribals total; combined.
Hoeffel could hit 100 if he has a good season this year. Not bad either.
Schroeder could be on power play unit with the Sedin twins for all we know in a few months and broke Roenicks record at the World Jrs as the leading US scorer ever at the under 20.

Saw yesterday that Youso will be playing for Waterloo this season - seems like the Gophers had lost interest.
