Minnesota Showcase Womens Div. III League

Might be more appropriate under a college forum, but since thre are high school girls playing in the league, I thought I would post it here.
The Blue Novas (a group of high school girls) will play Gustavus for the championship game on Sunday at 7:00 at Braemar. Stevens Point and Concordia WI will play for 3rd/4th at 5:30 at Braemar. The Blue Novas have gone undefeated in the league with a record of 8-0-2. One of the ties was against Gustavus. It should be a good game. I don't have a complete roster for the Blue Novas -- if someone else wants to post it, please feel free to do so.

Technically there are alternates but I think its really deceiving to say that some girls are alternates because the alternates have played as much or more than many of the regulars.

The Blue Novas took the Gusties to overtime last last night in the championship game, but lost in a shootout. It was a very good, physical game. I believe Concordia WI beat Stevens Point for 3rd place.

The Orange Crush beat River Falls 4-3 to capture the "Pool B" Championship
The Crush also recently won the 2 Nations female league Championship has well. They are made up of alot of High School seniors and a few that have graduated..

Congratulations to the Crush on their win and a great season! During regular season the Crush tied Gustavus 2-2 and the Blue Novas 4-4 and lost only two games, both by 1 goal.
