Does that mean that they will not be coming back to play high school hockey. Or is it the players choice or teams.

There probably is no rule preventing it, and maybe I don't understand your question, but I personally can't conceive of a scenario where a college or NHL player would need to return to play high school.grandmeadowhockeyfan wrote:Does that mean that they will not be coming back to play high school hockey. Kids don't actually "sign" with colleges untill the fall/spring of their Sr Year at the soonest, which is a commitment for the next season (some cases get's pushed back). A player can be drafted by a NHL team and retain all eligibility at the HS level given he doesn't sign a nhl contract. Usually happens with late year birthdays like August, troy hesketh is an example. If he does then all amateur status are gone...grandmeadowhockeyfan wrote:Does that mean that they will not be coming back to play high school hockey. Or is it the players choice or teams.
