SECTION 6 PLAYOFFS

blueblood has EP as the pre-season favorite. My pre-season 6AA rankings are:

1) EP - depth at all positions including G
2) Wayzata - Great junior class led by SuperMario
3) BSM - Besse and co. are my darkhorse pick for 6AA
4) Tonka - can't replace all of the defense and goaltending. Don't think they will make it to their 4th straight section final.

I was thinking the same thing............trying to hide under the radar.

I like blueblood's rankings...think they look spot on...

I was thinking the same thing............trying to hide under the radar.

I would arrange them slightly differently add a few comments.

1) EP - solid across the board, will be tough but beatable and not a lock
2 or 3) Wayzata - question in goal, good underclass at D an F
3 or 2) Tonka - CAN replace goaltendender; lot of depth up front; big ? at D.
4) Benilde - young and talented. Next year is their year. Will be a threat.

At this piont, I am not sandbagging. I believe the Skippers lost too much on defense to generate the scoring like they had last season.

Goaltending was be okay, but you can't replace the goalie who set the school record for career wins.

I'm sticking with my preseason rankings....
