What are your section 5A predictions? I believe the only difference from last year is the addition of Princeton after moving back to A from AA.

An extremely young section with a lot of seniors from both Hermantown and St. Cloud Cathedral graduating.....

But preseason guess of section final of Hermantown and St. Cloud Cathedral

Rogers will also be a contender

I don't know how many varsity skaters were playing for each side, but Princeton and Rogers split scrimmages thus far.

do u realize how few guys Hermantown returns? it's like 3 and no goalies with any varsity experience. not a favorite! Cathedral doesn't look amazing, but knowing private schools they'll probably have recruited.... Rogers sounds about right.

Dont' feel too sorry for Hermantown yet. They have about 5 returning players with extensive state tournament experience...AND...they asked the Hermantown girl's goalie to step in since she does have 3 years varsity experience

R u serious about the girl goalie?! Htown will always be solid and this year is no different, but i don't think that they will dominate whatsoever. I don't pity them at all.. ha

A girls goalie???? they have a solid team but boys and girls varsity is a big difference. Hermantown might not be as good as we think if they are relying on a girls goalie

If Denfeld was still in the section I'd probably take them but I'm leaning Hermantown again this year. Even though they lost a lot they have such a good feeder system that I think will help fill the empty holes.
