Ah yes. Bo is validated that Florida is now a contender for "State of Hockey" as the Lightning won 2000 and Everblades were runners-up at 1998.

Saw couple familiar MN names on 98 Everblades team .. did they move or just doing the long commute ? the brothers on the 98 are pretty impressive.

I heard there are two kids from Lakeville on the Everblades. They previously played for the Fire, where they would have run into the Everblades before. My guess is they just meet up with the team for the games. That team ('98) is a little unusual. One of the parents funds a large part of it.

Yes, the top players on that team are terrific. There is a 3rd brother closer to my son's age, so I'm sure I'll see him play soon.

I could care less but its interesting that they meet up for the games so either they do there own development or the development they need/want is the competition of the games. Perhaps that's what happens when they reach that level even at that young age ? I don't care one way or the other as I believe there needs to be a balance between development and fun ... too many times people all people talk about is development, development development at the expense of fun and games. There I said it games are good.

Sounds like they have the best of both worlds......development and fun. They get to travel to Florida for practice when it is cold in Minnesota and then travel to play very competitive hockey with the their friends. That is how you mix fun and development.
