Good call. I did not see the game but it must have been pretty exciting with Edina scoring the winning goal with just 5 seconds to go in regulation.

Looking at BSM's roster [ http://www.mngirlshockeyhub.com/roster/ ... ason=33703 ] it appears that they have a VERY young squad with just 2 seniors and 2 juniors. So you were right when you referred to their "talented youth".

Also see where Alexandria pulled the upset over SSP by a 3-2 margin. The shots in that one favored SSP by 30-16.

Did not see the Alex game but heard the Alex defense played really well and kept SSP from getting too many quality chances. Sounded like a great game.

Of the 14 completed games, titleist has picked 12 correct (great job!) and hockeyheaven has 11 right (also very good). Since both titleist and hockeyheaven have Centennial winning tonight's matchup against Elk River/Zimmerman, we can safely declare titleist to have earned bragging rights this week. Congratulations!

Week 2 will be posted shortly for anyone interested in taking a stab at this...I speak from experience (as in last place) in saying that it isn't easy.
