First game for both teams to start the Mariucci conference on Nov 30th.

If Bemidji is to have a good year they need to start out right.
EGF will be young and should improve as the season progresses.

Bemidji - 3
EGF - 2 OT

EGF traditionally has slow starts, but they will stick with the Jacks. Bemidji did demolished EGF 10-1 last year in the first game. I doubt coach Chupka forgot that thumping.

Agree, but can the Green Wave do it this year.
I do not know if Chupka has it in him.

I vote we'll have to wait to find out, since the game has been post-poned...

Well, EGF closed school yesterday, so, yeah. That and the 40 mph winds with blowing and drifting. No point getting killed for hockey, IMHO.

You are probably in a better position to know what night it is AF, but according to the Hockey Hub, it is tonight  :

Did you even read the articles I posted? EGF canceled school (did so before 9 am - so did Crookston, BTW). ACROSS THE RIVER, GF Central and Red River were on. Why was that? EGF and Crox schools draw from rural areas, and they didn't want kids to die on busses, seeing as 40% of the kids bus from way out. Not to mention that there are less trees by EGF and Crox than there are by Roseau or TRF. Why are we even debating this? It would have been stupid to play, and they will make it up tomorrow (Hub's got no idea what they're talking about)...

Every been on Highway 2 between Crookston and East Grand Forks? Not someplace you want to be with 30+ MPH winds and fresh snow.

Since I grew up in EGF, played hockey at EGF, and later went to Junior College in TRF, where I also played hokcey, yes, I have done all of those roads many times. Including all the way to Roseau, Bemidji, and any other points in the area.
Many times on buses, in my car, etc.
Would you like some cheese with your whine????

Anyway, I live down by the cities now and can be considered a cidiot.
The weather wasn't as bad here.
I am all for kids safety and am looking forward to the game tonight.
