Is this the same old Section 8 or will some team finally step in front of Moorhead and Roseau?

Moorhead 4-1.

Bemidji by 2.

Section 8 is wide open.
5 teams with some sort of good chance and each section game and the resulting score will be crucial to seeding.

wish I could be there tonight but prior commitment and the 2 hour (one way drive) make it impossible.

Sounds like it was a great game.

Bemidji showing a lot of promise.

I believe they have to be careful though.

Their coach, Mr. Chiodo, is preaching a very physical game, but it is costing them in the penalty box a lot in the games they have played so far.

Quote for Bemidji coach from the Hockey Hub:

“I like playing the physical kind of hockey, in your face, don’t give them any room,” said Chiodo. “I preach that pretty hard.”

In their first game against EGF, EGF had 11 power plays. Some of EGF's top players were not playing in this game. Would that have made a difference?

We'll obviously see, as the year progresses, how this style of play affects the Lumberjacks.

Good luck to Bemidji.

That was the best looking Lumberjack team I've seen in MANY years ! Hard working kids with good hustle, decent speed and nice passing. The rest of 8AA had better pay attention - they're gonna make some waves this year.
