Tied 2-2. I expected FL to beat the yearly overrated punies.

Surprised at this result, I expected Flake to blow the Ponies out of the water.

What happened to this up & coming powerhouse Flake program? I thought they were loaded with all this returning talent from last year's conference title team. I thought Forsythe was mentioned as one of the best coaches in the state?
Reality is, Flake is an average program. The had a couple nice seniors last year and caught the conference in a down year. Evidence of this was seeing Flake get destroyed in the sections and seeing no one from their conference advancing to state. Forsythe is a decent guy and works well with kids, but is just an average coach. I see them finishing in the middle of the conference this year which may seem surprising to some people.

Agreed. Any team that ties the lowly Ponies must be weak.
